Antonio received his Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Five Branches University located in Santa Cruz, California. He is nationally certified through NCCAOM and licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of Oregon. Antonio is an active member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as the Oregon Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Antonio and Kelly Barros met in 2003 at Mueller College of Holistic Studies where they received their education in massage therapy and shared a common vision of starting a healing center together someday. Later, Antonio interned with Peggy Schafer of the Chinese Medicinal Herb Farm in Petaluma, CA, and developed a love of working with Chinese herbs in their living form. Antonio treated his first patient in 2008 at the Five Branches University clinic.
In 2010 he and Kelly moved to Southern Oregon to start Sourcefield Farm where they enjoy propagating and cultivating Chinese medicinal herbs for use in Antonio’s acupuncture practice. Antonio’s vision of creating an acupuncture clinic to help heal the members of his community came to light in 2013 with the start of Yuan Tian, the Chinese translation for “Sourcefield.” Yuan Tian opened in 2015. www.sourcefieldhealing.com

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with 18 years’ experience working with families in the WIC program. It is my hope to provide tools so that parents can create healthy meals and snacks for their families. I am also a Certified Lactation Consultant and have been involved in various breastfeeding coalitions around the state. I truly enjoy helping families reach their personal breastfeeding goals while supporting and promoting breastfeeding in Oregon. Recently, my family relocated to Grants Pass after living in Bend for 17 years. I am thankful to be in this community full of caring people striving to make this a healthy environment for all its residents.
